Trump is not the problem

September 29, 2020 by Guest Post

By Bob Williams, Stevensville

Think this through and through. America’s number one adversary increased its mass media information warfare against the USA during the 2016 election cycle. For instance, disseminating across targeted markets, extremely negative propaganda against the pro NATO candidate for the Presidency.

Putin’s Kremlin, and Putin’s oligarchs, election interferences were accepted by many in the privileged, undertaxed wealth class in America.

Think this through. Reportedly, in January 2017, US intelligence officers told the US military, the White House, and the new President, of overheard conversations about a new, deadly virus breakout in the largest city in central China. Conversations wire tapped in November, also December, of 2016, by USA signal intelligence operations.

Responding to already prepared instructions about dealing with a pandemic, and advice from recognized authorities, the Trump government could have early on stopped all travelers from China. Instead, technically, the Trump government was the very last government to ban many, but not all, travelers from China. The Trump administration failed to secure our borders against   many thousands of people infected with the deadly virus, known as SARS CoV-2.

Many wealthy Americans, and their political associates, avoided dealing with the COVID-19 epidemic, although the Federal Reserve Chairman emphasized that to help the USA economy, the USA must first deal with the COVID-19 crisis.

The USA response to SARS CoV-2 and the COVID-19 pandemic may be OK with the powerful, mutual protection alliance between the USA wealth class, and GOP Senators.

Ongoing problem is that unholy alliance has acquired immense power, and chops away at public health care. And works to sequentially reduce public land acreage held in public hands.

That alliance is supported by such as the Koch donor network, and wealth management hedge funds supporting white, male privilege.

Our USA Constitution was framed to protect the people from the rich and powerful.

The current dominant political party represents fewer people than does the current minority political party.

Who wants a national government protecting the rich and powerful from the will of the people? Maybe the Trump and Barr people now in court seeking to strip down the Affordable Care Act. Are they using the law to create disorder?

Remember, the dominant political party that failed to deal with COVID-19 has obviously failed to deal with fossil fuel pollution, forcing adverse changes in climate.

Why vote for any political party that protects the rich and powerful from the will of the people?

Who to vote for? Vote for the kids and the climate they will grow up in.

Want something more specific? Well, it sure looks like the Trump campaign will lose most of the swing states it won November 8, 2016. And the GOP will lose some Senate races November 3, 2020. After that, there will be some GOP Senators working across the aisle to procure benefits for different states and regions. Benefits in appropriation bills hammered out in the Democratic controlled House of Representatives, influenced by the Biden-Harris administration.

However, the narrowly partisan Junior Senator from Montana seems to lack the disposition, experience, also relationships, necessary to effectively leverage benefits for Montana.
