Victor – Paul M. Graves, a loving servant, teacher, husband, father, and grandfather, Pastor of …in One Hope Ministries, Ambassador of “The Most Excellent Way International,” retired Albuquerque District Fire Chief, and United States Air Force Veteran, will be laid to a well-deserved rest, following a long battle with several cancers and numerous related complications due to extensive dioxin exposure while in the military.
He will receive both Military and Fire Service Honors, at the Victor Cemetery near his home, in Victor, Montana, on Saturday, October 3rd at 2 p.m. Services are being coordinated by Whitesitt Funeral Home in Stevensville MT. Albuquerque Fire Chief, Paul Dow, has ordered “Last Call” and the ringing of the “Four Fives” in honor of Paul’s courageous, and extensive service to that Fire Department and community. It will be carried out by a member of the Victor Fire Department where Paul volunteered for several years. In Celebration of Paul’s life, the ceremony will be immediately followed by an outdoor gathering, weather permitting, at the family’s home nearby. Light snacking food will be welcomed and any venue changes due to weather will be announced.
Paul’s passing was preceded by his father Charles and mother Loretta, his brother Chick, his sister Pat, his aunt and five uncles including the family historian “Uncle Ted.” Paul is survived by his wife Trish, his children, Shane, Landon and his wife Caitlin, Amy and her husband Steve Wright, Jerry and his wife Kate, his brother John and his wife Leah, nine wonderful grandchildren, Emily, Sawyer, Michael, Jasmine, Jordan, Jaren, Marissa, Exel, and Ayzen, as well as by many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. The Graves family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support during this trying time. A precious friend recently shared the following: Romans 8:18 (NKJV)18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. May God bless you all and may God be given the glory.
