The Ravalli County Planning Department is inviting public comment on a floodplain permit application for a proposed project within the Regulated Flood Hazard Area of the Bitterroot River. The applicant is Mr. Charlie Lambson. The proposed project will construct a 40 foot x 60 foot shop adjacent the applicant’s house. Approximately 1,200 cubic yards of fill will be used for a building pad and the fill will be sourced from a pond on the applicant’s property. The project is located at 5585 Klements Ln., Florence, in Section 12, T10N, R20W, Ravalli County. Information regarding this application is available at the Ravalli County Planning Department at 215 S 4th St, Suite F in Hamilton. Written comments may be mailed, hand-delivered or emailed (planning@rc.mt.gov) and must be received by Wednesday April 1st, 2020 at 5:00 pm. (Reference Application # FA-20-02).
