The Blue Devils handed Dillon their first conference loss of the season in their final game of the regular season on Saturday. Coach Andy Knapp said his team has played well the last seven games and are really clicking right now.
“Our guards were hitting well against Dillon,” said Knapp. “With them hitting, that pulled the defense off of Izzy (Isabel Evans) and she finished with 17 points.”
Although the win was great, it didn’t move Corvallis up in the standings. They still had to play Butte Central on Monday night for a play in game to advance to the Western A tournament in Ronan this week.
