Employees of the Ravalli County Federal Credit Union and members of the Bitterroot Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of a new branch office in Florence last week. The doors to the new branch office actually opened on October 29.
“I’m thrilled to be opening a new branch in Florence,” said Branch Manager Paul Anderson. He said extending the hours at the Florence branch to include evenings and Saturdays would greatly increase accessibility and convenience for all their customers, especially those residing in the north end of the valley and in the Missoula area.
1“I believe we offer the best financial services to be found in the Bitterroot,” said Anderson. He said that’s what he loves most about working for RCFCU.
“We don’t have pushy sales practices or quotas, but what we have to offer in terms of loans and account services stand so well on their own merit that it’s easy to be enthusiastic when making recommendations to members about how best to meet their current needs,” said Anderson.
According to CEO Darcy Parsons, who lives in Florence, the Florence Branch will be a full-service branch offering all of the same products and services that the Hamilton Branch offers. The ATM will be part of the co-op network which includes over 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide and will take deposits. Additionally, the new branch will offer extended business hours; open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. which will include a loan officer onsite for loan requests.
