Corvallis and Hamilton placed fourth and fifth respectively in the boys race at the Flathead Invite Cross Country Meet on Saturday in Kalispell.Sentinel won the race with Columbia Falls and Glacier coming in second and third. Stevensville finished in the pack in the 18 team race.
Hamilton’s Colter Kirkland was fourth with a time of 16:52.81. Tanner Klumph of Sentinel won with a time of 16:30.51. Will Flowers of Corvallis was fifth with a time of 16:54.38. Also placing in the top 25 for Corvallis were Brinson Wyche in 18th with a time of 16:54.20; and Connor Yetter in 21st with a time of 18:00.47.
Corvallis finished in third place behind Sentinel and Flathead who what 46 points each, and Glacier who had 68 points. Corvallis finished with 79 points. Katie Gleason was fifth with a time of 20:11.26. Olivia Buoy was 13th with 20:31.76, and Rose Day was 19th with 21:11.41.
Hamilton did not have a full team competing but Brynnli Poulsen finished in second place with a time of 19:16.37. Sentinel’s Brooke Stayner won with 19:07.32. Sarah Passey finished in 23rd place with a time of 21:31.88.
