There are strong parallels in the sequencing of events in the Sheep Creek Proposition and the historical treatment of the Native American Tribes.

In both circumstances specific action was taken based on the assumption that the government knows best. The long term social results indicate that assumption to be less than accurate.

Crucial to both circumstances is the element of control. The Native American population was controlled by superior physical force. The current force working against the population of the Bitterroot Valley is every bit as effective as that used against the Native Americans.

The composition of that force is something thought to be unlikely due to the checks and balances supposedly an integral part of our infrastructure.

That assumption has proven invalid as the evidence is displayed in full color in the current social proceedings.

The primary element in the process is CONTROL. The second is MONEY.

No matter the methodology used as a result of the existing circumstance, the result is the same. The bias present in every part of the government activity, in consideration of the Sheep Creek Proposition, is clear when the technique is examined in terms of results. That is to say, no matter the facts present, the inherent truths within them and the almost inevitable results, the government position prevails. After all, the government knows best. If not so serious it would be a good comedy routine.

American society has been molded to believe in the “Rule of Law.” It was that expectation, and respect for the concept, that it was successful. Time has proven, now and then, that though most things change, man does not.

The various adaptations that have been constructed to maintain CONTROL have, in many cases, failed. One need only look to the current conditions within the United States to find validation of the failures.

You are ALLOWED to do certain things and you are FORCED to do others. The government is in control of the people despite the fact it cannot control itself. The government has been shaped to continue and expand that Control in any manner they feel is within the boundaries of their biases.  There are many.

That brings us up to current affairs.  We are being ALLOWED to express ourselves (within certain limitations and boundaries).

FORCE in the form of approval of the Sheep Creek Proposition could reasonably be expected as the government exercises its CONTROL.

THE TIME WILL HAVE ARRIVED WHEN WE PAY THE PRICE AND WILL BE THE MOMENT WHEN WE REALIZE WHAT WE HAVE DONE.

APPROVAL OF THE “EXPLORATION” CONSTITUTES APPROVAL OF THE MINE. THIS HAPPENING DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE THOUGHT WE “HAD BETTER THINGS TO DO”, WHEN WE DIDN’T.
