The Columbia Falls Iceberg Invitational was held on Saturday.Corvallis finished in third place behind Whitefish and host Columbia Falls. Polson, Eureka, and Libby followed Corvallis. The Blue Devils only sent a few athletes to the event, mostly younger team members. 

Jessica Mosbrucker won the 200 with a time of 28.09. She was second in the 100. Amelia Jessop was third in the 200 with a time of 29.14. Madison Henry took third in the 800 with a time of 2:42.21. Ella Greenberg from Whitefish won the race with a time of 2:37.32. Jesse Boaz of Corvallis was fifth in the race with 2:47.71. Boaz finished sixth in the 1,600 with 6:04.75. The winning time was 5:39.61 by Jade Greenberg. Nyssa Schairer finished fifth in the 300 hurdles with a time of 54.79. Jadi Walburn of Whitefish won with 51 seconds. The 400 relay was won by Whitefish with a time of 51.69. Corvallis was fourth with 55.33.5. Columbia Falls won the 1600 relay with a time of 4:19.07. Corvallis was fourth with 4:50.86. Jenna Jordan was fifth in the high jump with 4-06 and Cedar Slatten finished sixth with 4-02. Mikenna Ells of Whitefish won with a leap of 5-0. Corvallis’ Kaitlyn Weidow Discus won the discus with a throw of 103-2. Kaylee Jordan was second with 99-4. Madison Lewis was sixth with 84-0. 

The Corvallis boys finished sixth. Columbia Falls won the event. Brinson Wyche won the 3200 with a time of 11:23.19. Chase Tucker was third in the 110 hurdles with a time of 17:45 and teammates Jonathan Crane was fifth with 19.60. Zack Pletcher of Columbia Falls won with 16:65. Pletcher won the 300 hurdles with 43.32 but Tucker was right behind in second place. James Talia finished second in the shot put with a put of 41-11. Dillon Botner of Whitefish was first with 44-2. 

Darby, Florence and Victor competed at the Seeley-Swan Invitational on Saturday. Darby’s Casey Ehmann won the 100 hurdles and the 300 hurdles. She was second in the 200 meter race. Amber Anderson of Darby was fourth in the 100 hurdles. Gracie Lang won the 3,200 race with a time of 13:25.36. 

In the long jump, Cassidy Alber of Victor took fourth. Anna Stiegler of Florence was fifth in that event. 

Darby’s Donovan Chaffin won the 3,200 race and was third in the 1,600 race. Gabe Smith was fifth in the javelin. 

Florence’s Luke Maki finished fourth in the javelin and fifth in the discus. Creagan Keller was fourth in the triple jump. Nathan Gale took fifth in the 3,200.
