Corvallis, Stevi move on to divisional

Corvallis took the Southwest A championship on Saturday with a three-game sweep of Stevensville. The Blue Devils were led by Maureen Jessop’s 13 kills and Hannah Hutchison’s four aces. Stevensville’a Angel Richards and Kylie Alfred each had five kills.

Corvallis def. Stevensville 25-15, 25-6, 25-13

Corvallis – Kills 26 (Maureen Jessop 13), Blocks 14 (Isabel Evans 4.5), Digs 43 (Casey Fison 13), Assists 30 (Hannah Martin 28), Aces 5 (Hannah Hutchison 4).

Stevensville – Kills 16 (Angel Richards5, Kylie Alfred 5). Blocks 4 (Alfred 1), Digs 31 (Cassi Kopsa 15, Quinn Larson 7), Assists 17 (Quinn Larson 10), Aces 2. 

Hamilton lost out in their bid to move to move on to the divisional tournament when they lost to Butte Central.

Butte Central def. Hamilton 25-18, 25-11, 25-6

Hamilton – Kills 12 (Katherine Clark 4), Blocks 4, Digs 24 (Maddie Ringer 7), Assists 9 (Madisen Neal 4), Aces 4.

Butte Central – Kills 22 (Strizic 6, Anderson 6), Blocks 2), Digs 46 (Strizic 13, Burton 10), Assists 21 (Keeley 21), Aces 15 (Anderson 6, Burton 4).

In first round action at the Southwest A district tournament, Hamilton lost to Dillon. Molly Craig had six kills for the Lady Broncs. 

Stevensville topped Butte Central, 25-18, 25-18, 21-25, 25-11. 

In District 13 C action, Darby and Victor lost out and ended their season. Darby lost to Clark Fork on Friday but came back to send Victor home. Victor had already lost to Valley Christian earlier in the day. Darby defeated Lincoln but then lost their final match to Seeley-Swan. 

Valley Christian def. Victor 25-12, 25-20- 21-25, 25-21

Valley Christian – Kills 41 (Hiltz 17), Blocks 7 (Rumph 5), Digs 76 (Kelly 16), Assists 32 (Hover 31), Aces 14 (Hiltz 6). 

Victor – Kills 25 (Madison Allred 98), Blocks 5 (Allred 3), Digs 90(Sophie Pearson 25), Assists 18 (Ashley Hopper 13), Aces 9 (Hopper3).

Darby def Lincoln 25-11, 25-8, 19-25, 25-16

Darby – Kills 30 (Casey Ehmann 7, TeaAnna Rouse 7), Blocks 2, Digs 32 (Ehmann 6, Makenzie Clarke 6, Haliegh Golden6), Assists 21(Rouse 10), Aces 21 (Rouse 9).

Seeley-Swan def. Darby 25-15, 25-15, 25-13

Seeley-Swan – Kills 21 (Miller 9), Blocks 7 (Koratch 3), Digs 54 (Morse 11), Assists 18, Aces 7 (Koratch 3).

Darby – Kills 9 (Schlapman 5), Blocks 8 (Golden 4), Digs 35 (Rouse 9), Assists 8 (Rouse 5), Aces 7 (Rouse 5).
