Catholics: Trump insulted Pope Francis for stressing Christ’s words: “… the ‘least of our brethren …”. Catholic Speaker of the House fired the Jesuit House Chaplain for praying that the Republican budget, drafted by Catholic Budget Chair and pushed by Catholic Majority Leader, would remember the poor as well as the rich. Catholics, who are you?
Mormons: Trump selected a Baptist preacher to ‘pray’ at the opening of a new Embassy. This ‘mega-Church’ operator publicly stated that: “Mormonism is heresy from the pits of hell.” Romney denounced Trump’s selected speaker and his views. Mormons, who are the rest of you?
All Christians: Trump sent soldiers to stop impoverished frightened women and children, sleeping on concrete. The Attorney General announced Trump’s policy to take children, even infants, from their mothers and incarcerate them miles apart. What of: “better that a rock …” and “suffer the little children …” and “I was homeless …” Trump rejects Christ’s teachings. Christians, who are you?
Veterans: Trump, a five-time draft dodger, mocked Senator McCain for being “captured.” No, not captured. Fighting for his country, his plane was shot down. Injured and tortured for years, he refused special release until his fellow POWs were released. Trump and his minions continue to insult McCain, dismissing him because he is now dying. Veteran organizations, who are you?
