Cross Country at Daly Mansion

Hamilton edged Corvallis in the boys’ team scoring at the Daly Mansion Cross Country Meet on Saturday but it was Darby’s Doug Raymer who continued to top the field. He completed the course with a time of 16:03. Corvallis’ Colby Henderson was second at 16:15 and Easton Albert of Hamilton crossed the line at 16:42.
Corvallis easily picked up first place in the girls team scoring but it was a freshman from Bigfork who ‘wowed’ the field. Makena Morley crossed the finished line in 17:53 with a time of 17:53, a minute and four seconds faster than Polson’s Claudia Hewston. Sadi Henderson of Corvallis was third with a time of 19:12.

Team scores: Hamilton 51, Corvallis 52, Polson 97, Dillon 107, Ronan 159, Anaconda 184, St. Ignatius 199. Also competing: Arlee, Darby, Drummond, Bigfork.
