Dear Editor,
Thank you for the very complete coverage of the Stevensville Council meeting of September 12, it was enlightening.
I have been a Stevensville resident for thirty years now, and have been involved in many community events during this time. In conjunction with these, I have had the distinct pleasure to work in partnership with Jan Perrin, Dan Severson, Roxanne Stout, and Victoria and Michael Howell. Their credibility has always been top notch, and their concern for the good of the community paramount.
For Dan Mullan and Pat Groninger to characterize them as sharks, who only show up when blood is in the water, is a gross mischaracterization – so much so, that it makes me think they might be the “sharks” we need to watch out for.
Those of you who know all of these people can best judge who to believe in this matter, as there is a clear separation of character here. One of the chief problems in this whole matter has been the voting public not making intelligent choices on their ballots. Hopefully that will not be the case the next time around!
