POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
The Town of Stevensville is seeking qualified applicants to serve as Mayor of the Town of Stevensville. The position of Mayor is public office. POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
The Town of Stevensville is seeking qualified applicants to serve as Ward 2 Councilperson for the Town of Stevensville. Sealed bids will be received by the Ravalli County Clerk and Recorder Office at 215 South Fourth Street, Suite C, Hamilton, Montana, 59840, until 10:00 a.m. local time on September 15th, 2011, for the construction of the “West Fork Guardrail Replacement” project. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “WEST FORK GUARDRAIL REPLACEMENT” and “SEALED BID” along with bidder’s name and mailing address. No facsimile bids will be accepted.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project will consist of the removal, replacement and installation of new guardrail at three locations along West Fork Bitter Root River Road.
PROJECT LOCATION
The project is located in Ravalli County, along West Fork Bitter Root Road, which starts approximately 4 miles south of the Town of Darby. The project locations are along West Fork Bitter Root River Road at approximate mile posts 24.1, 26.2 and 33.7.
PROJECT QUANTITIES
The estimated unit quantities of the project include removal of 346 linear feet of existing guard rail, installation of 676 linear feet of new guard rail, and end sections.
Bidders shall note that these quantities are estimates only. Payment will be made only for the actual quantity of work performed and accepted in conformance with this agreement.
PROJECT FINANCING
The West Fork Guardrail Replacement project is administered by Ravalli County, financed by the FHWA Western Federal Lands Highway Division, and is subject to all applicable regulations as indicated within these specifications.
COMPLETION OF WORK
All work must be substantially completed within 30 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The project may be suspended, at the discretion of Ravalli County, when weather conditions may preclude effective completion of the project or may conflict with the provisions of these project specifications.

The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00 a.m. on September 15th, 2011, by the Board of County Commissioners in the Commissioners’ Conference Room, 215 South Fourth Street, Suite A, Hamilton, MT 59840.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the undersigned has been appointed as Personal Representative of the above-named estate. All persons having claims against the decedent are required to present their claims within four months after the date of the first publication of this notice or said claims will be forever barred.
