The Mad King goes to war

January 6, 2026 by Guest Post 1 Comment

by John Schneeberger, Hamilton

It should be clear to everyone that Trump invaded Venezuela to knock off another criminal dictator who wasn’t playing ball. He says it’s about drugs, but he just pardoned a notorious drug kingpin in Honduras who wisely knew how to collude with the Mad King. (The price of cocaine is one of the few commodities in this country that is falling.) Trump prattles about democracy when he has no respect for the outcome of elections in this country. We should listen when he says this about oil, not for the country but for himself and his allies. Remember, this is someone who is now enriching himself with billions from Arab autocracies paid to his bitcoin company in exchange for favorable diplomatic treatment. The corruption is astounding! If you think the Mad King has a different plan, the best you can say about this military aggression is that it is good old-fashioned 19th century imperialism. His designs on Panama, Greenland, and Canada now make more sense. Whether he is able to pull it off depends on whether he can completely snuff out political opposition in this country. It seems unlikely, but with our elected officials running for cover and half the country blissfully unaware or enthralled by the Mad King, I am not optimistic.

Venezuelan Seized the assets of 2 American Oil companies there Illegally. Maduro had a bounty on his head that Biden Increased to $25MM. How would you feel if Canada Seized a Ford Plant? would you want to have your president sit back and take it?
I love when un-educated fools who think they should be elected officials chime in with propaganda.
