Senator, our president’s strikes in the southern seas are not cool. Congress didn’t and wouldn’t authorize such actions, and they are totally beyond your authority to demand of our military. You are in a position to rally Congress to call a halt to this behavior. A popular host on television rightly describes this president as “a vile stain on American public life,” and indeed he is. We would like to see you speak up for the other portion of your constituency, towards whom you turn a deaf ear.
