The volunteer Board of the Ravalli County Museum along with Executive Director Tamar Stanley and staff would like to thank the family of George “Stag” Vogt and wife Jo, and their son Stephen for generously remembering the Museum in their end of life wealth distribution.
The Museum and many other entities were remembered in their final life plans and were the grateful recipients of their generosity. We who were fortunate enough to have shared the community with Stag, Jo and Steve along with Steve’s wife Janie have many wonderful memories of their lives, and their planning and generosity to the Valley after their deaths are not surprising and deserve multiple thanks.
It is their act of generosity which may be used as a model to others in the community to think about their own end of life distributions. If the contributions that the Museum provides to the Bitterroot Valley (preservation, acquisition, education & entertainment) is deemed essential, please remember the Ravalli County Museum when your end of life plans are being discussed with your financial planner and attorney.
Please also remember that the Ravalli County Museum is not supported by Ravalli County taxpayer dollars (although the Old Courthouse building is maintained by the County). It is through your gifts and support, memberships, grants, and active fund raisers that the Museum is able to perpetuate its contributions to the Bitterroot Valley.
With profound gratitude.
