The Ravalli County Planning Department is inviting public comment on a floodplain permit application for work proposed within the floodplain of the Bitterroot River. The project will add fill at the edges of the flood fringe on the property at 4244 US Highway 93 South. The fill will be used to lessen the grade between two elevated terraced areas at the edge of the floodplain. The project is located about 3 miles south of Darby in Section 36, Township 03 North, Range 21 West, Ravalli County. The applicant is Kenneth Schwartz. The Ravalli County Board of Commissioners is soliciting Request for Proposals for pavement markings to be conducted throughout various County roads in Ravalli County
Proposals will be received by the Ravalli County Clerk and Recorder, 215 S. 4th Street, Suite C, (Second Floor) Hamilton, MT. 59840 until 4:00 p.m. September 30, 2015. Proposals will then be opened by the Ravalli County Commissioners at 9:00, a.m. on October 1, 2015 in the Commissioners Conference Room (Third Floor) at 215 S. 4th Street, Hamilton, MT.
