The steady deterioration of the foundations and pillars of our great democratic republic is outrageous. On a daily basis, we witness criminality, corruption and incompetence from the current president, his cabinet and entire administration. The outrageous actions coming from the White House, the justice department, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the departments of energy, interior, treasury, etc. are committed by people loyal only to president Trump. These blatant sycophants have pledged their allegiance to one man over the interests of the constitution, citizens and country. That is an outrage. Just as outrageous is the cowardly silence of the Republican led Congress. For years now, Republican so-called leaders have remained silent, enabled, or praised the grifters and criminals in power. Had any of these atrocious actions been committed by a Democratic presidential administration, this Republican led Congress would have long ago presided over the lynching of the entire executive branch.
In little more than a month from now, we will have a decision to make-to send more Trump loyalists to Washington, or new leaders who will represent the interests of Montanans and country. Let’s begin to restore our country’s standing as a trustworthy world leader. We have the power in our government. Elect people who will begin to hold this administration accountable and to build a government whose priority is the well-being of the people of this country.
