A short while ago a writer to the Opinion Page said that she didn’t know any Democrats who espoused an ideology of communism, or socialism, or increased taxes, or militancy, or ANTIFA, or defunding police, or banning ICE, or antisemitism, or enforcing elections laws.
In fact every one of these ideas has been promoted by democrat politicians all across the country. Socialist or communist mayors in Seattle, Minnesota, Washington DC and a segment of the democrat party that makes up the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America). Socialist candidates for congress include El Sayed in Michigan, Jackson in Maine and Nixon in Florida. There has been much support from the Democrat party for these nominees and officials including AOC and Bernie Sanders, leaders of the party. Many of the current Democrat candidates have espoused defunding police, abolishing ICE, open boarders, an inane denial of ANTIFA, anti Jew sentiments and more. Unfortunately I can’t give you the receipts on all the anti-American ideology currently promoted by members of the Democrat party in this column. Know this, if you are going to identify with the Democrat party you need to be prepared to be associated with these ideologies. You need to educate yourselves on the Democrat party ideology.

Antifa is merely shorthand for antifascist. Since you have such animosity toward antifa, I guess that makes you profascist.
