Hamilton volleyball defeats Stevensville

The Stevensville volleyball team hosted Hamilton in an all-Bitterroot Valley matchup on Tuesday, Sept. 15. It was a close match, but Hamilton came out on top winning 3-1 (25-17, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18). 

Individually for Hamilton, Morgan Lubke had 31 assists. Ella Griffin had 15 kills and 10 digs, Reyanna Gum had 10 kills, and Kaitlyn Snavely had 5 kills and five blocks.

Later in the week, Hamilton played at Dillon on Friday, Sept. 18, and lost in a tough five-set match 2-3 (27-25, 22-25, 10-25, 25-14, 14-16). Individually for Hamilton, Morgan Lubke had 30 assists and nine digs. Ella Griffin had 12 kills and 11 digs. Kaitlyn Snavely had 12 kills. Avery Raszler had 12 digs, Jade Jimenez 14 digs, and Reyanna Gum had 13 kills and 11 digs.

Later in the week, Stevensville hosted Frenchtown on Thursday, Sept. 17, and lost 1-3 (19-25, 25-22, 11-25, 19-25).

Bitterroot volleyball recap

Corvallis played at Butte Central on Thursday, Sept. 17, and won 3-1 (23-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-17). For Corvallis, Kaia Benson had six kills. Samantha Royce had eight blocks, and Puah Caneda had 17 assists and 15 digs. Corvallis hosted Dillon on Saturday, Sept. 19, and lost 0-3. 

Florence played at Missoula Loyola on Thursday, Sept. 17, and won 3-0 (25-10, 25-6, 25-18).

Darby played at Arlee on Thursday, Sept. 17, and lost 0-3 (17-25, 21-25, 16-25). 

Victor played at Philipsburg on Thursday, Sept. 17, and lost 0-3 (14-25, 23-25, 16-25).
