The Florence and Darby golf teams competed at the Western B Divisionals in Anaconda at the Old Works Golf Course on Tuesday, May 12.

Florence results
The Florence boys team of RJ Moody, Brody Duchien, Ian McLean, and Preston Ekstedt, won the Western B Divisional championship. Florence and Loyola tied at +27 over par, and Florence claimed the championship after winning a one-hole playoff.
Florence’s Kipley Solari shot an impressive two over par 74 to take home the girls individual Western B Divisional championship. Solari won by eight strokes over the second place finisher. The Florence girls team of Solari, Lacie Ketelhut, Jordan Kidd, and Reese Briney, took 2nd.
Individually for the Florence boys, Brody Duchien and RJ Moody tied for 2nd (77). Ian McLean tied for 5th (80), Preston Ekstedt tied for 7th (81), and Easton Anderson tied for 30th (94).
Individually for the Florence girls, Kipley Solari took 1st (74). Lacie Ketelhut finished 4th (93). Jordan Kidd finished 14th (101), Reese Briney tied for 15th (102), and Lexi Danczyk tied for 20th (108).
Darby results
The Darby girls took 9th. Individually, Bentley Rouse tied for 20th (108) and qualified individually for state. Kota Fisher finished 35th (124). Charley McDowell finished 46th (146), and Nikki Neville finished 48th (153).
The Darby boys took 11th. Individually, Jordan Browning tied for 28th (93). Daniel Stewart finished 44th (99), Levi Whiting tied for 50th (112), and Jaden Bailey finished 55th (122).
The state tournament is held on Tuesday, May 19, and Wednesday, May 20, at the Lake Hills Golf Course in Billings.
