Let’s keep Jon Tester

October 8, 2024 by Guest Post

by Skip Kowalski, Stevensville

Montanans need to keep Jon Tester in the Senate. Jon is a working Montana farmer and understands the importance of agriculture to our economy, open space, wildlife habitat and quality of life. Jon is a champion for our public lands and is committed to keeping our public lands in public ownership. He supports collaborative solutions to public lands conflicts and authors legislation such as the Rocky Mountain Front Heritage Act and Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Act to make the resolutions to resource conflicts permanent.

Jon Tester’s commitment to our national security, our veterans and our men and women in uniform is unwavering. Instead of building a costly and ineffective wall between us and Mexico, Jon supports using technology and adding legal staff and border control personnel to help resolve our southern border crisis. Jon’s pledge to support our veterans cannot be questioned and his actions on behalf of our veterans speak louder than words.

Jon understands Montana values and wants us to retain our rural way of life. He is responsible for expanding hi-speed internet to unserved rural areas, fought to retain health care services and maintain small rural clinics and nursing homes, and attained funding to maintain and repair our rural roads and bridges.

Jon Tester is a respected member of the Senate and works across the aisle to do what’s best for Montana and our nation. He is a straight shooter and won’t shy away from explaining why he believes his votes in the Senate are what’s best for the citizens of Montana. Jon Tester has my vote for Senate this November. In order to keep Montana the “Last Best Place,” I hope he has your vote as well.

Tester is well behind in the polls. Perhaps some of the local democrats need to coup out Tester and slap some cackling weirdo imbecile to run in his stead.

He’s been in too long, his pockets are full of special interest $$$. Tester was instrumental in current support for OPEN BORDERS hugging up Harris and Biden.

Tester voted for the bill that would have taken effective steps to securing the border. The only Montanan in Washington to do so. Of course, Trump puppets killed the bipartisan legislation.

Where’s your proof of this? He does not support closing the border. He’s had 18 years to accomplish this.

Last year Tester helped pass funding to hire 300 more border patrol agents. He voted to fund border wall construction 12 times. The infrastructure bill that HE negotiated also included $1 billion for upgrades at ports of entry, which is the real key to stopping fentanyl and other contraband. Tester has consistently supported immigration reform bills that Mitch McConnell repeatedly kills so he could score political points.

You can talk all you want about the border, but facts are facts. While you TALK, Jon Tester is taking action and getting results. You don’t have to appreciate what he does for Montana but you can’t just pretend like it isn’t reality.

Hard to argue with solid facts and logic.
