I diligently watched both the Republican and the Democratic conventions and boy, howdy, am I ever glad that is over with!
There was lots of hype, razzle-dazzle happiness, joy, hand clapping, whooping and hollering in both parties.
I reckon that’s the name of the game, and all of that is to be expected, going along with the program as it happens to be.
There was such enthusiasm in the Trump/Vance camp. From a governing president of our homeland, they talked of the past particulars regarding his policies and the impact that had in both our country and our world.
Issues that are certainly verifiable in one way or another, depending on who you are and how you perceive things.
Going forward, they spoke of the future and the specifics of proposed strategies and plans of action with the effects and influences that would come about.
In the Harris/Walz camp, there was certainly lots of excitement to be had.
In a similar way, as a governing vice president, they spoke of past accomplishments, tried and true, just look at the evidence and past performances. They also have great hopes for the future of our nation and the world.
Now, WE get to decide. Dear me, dear me! Is it as clear as mud? Naw, it’s not that difficult. You look into your HEART=SPIRIT … or … your HEAD=MIND. The heart and the head can have two very different views of the situation. Your moral conscience extends from your heart and then engages your mind to make a determination. There is quite a distinction and contradiction in perceiving things from a moral standpoint as opposed to a political frame of mind. That IS who we are, one way or the other. Is not your moral character supposed to determine your political position?
We shall see what we shall see. Won’t we.
I do believe I’d vote for my neighbor’s cat or donkey as opposed to voting for a continuation of these past three and a half years.

Fortunately it will not be cheerleading D or R ideologist who chose the next president, it will be rational independents. My question though for the R camp is this: If the Donald Trump believes the Democrats rigged the 2020 election, why is he running again in 2024? I have not been able to reconcile this.

Last night at the moment Kamala said that people were leaving his rallies out of boredom you could see something snap in him.. It was if a switch had been flipped. If it is this easy to manipulate this angry, vain, ignorant man in a public debate, I shudder to think how easily he could be dominated and manipulated behind closed doors by actual dictators. Donald Trump has the self control and emotional maturity of a toddler.

Therapy it is, Bill. Google mental health care in the Bitterroot. Lots of options.

Right after you google Weight watchers.

The Democrat “party” which they alleged was a party of vibes and unity, was the most hate filled 4 days of rhetoric and lies imaginable.
Unfortunately the blissfully ignorant people who tortured themselves listening to that pack of lies are too uninformed to see reality

In 1961 the “Milgram Experiment” found something that blew their minds. The goal was to test the extent of peoples willingness to obey mindless orders from an authority figure. They theorized that less than 3% would obey but what they found was 65% obeyed…media magic in the rabbit hole, mission accomplished.

Democratic convention or Republican convention? Not a hard choice.
The Dems had John Legend and Stevie Wonder. The Repubs had Kid Rock and Lee Greenwood.
The Dems had Michelle Obama and Bill Clinton. The Repubs had Hulk Hogan and Eric Trump.
The Dems had a career prosecutor, senator and vice president spreading a message of optimism and hope. The Repubs had a convicted felon, rapist and insurrectionist spreading lies, anger and fear.
If this is a hard choice for you, I encourage you to seek therapy.

Do you accept that Donald Trump has been convicted of rape? That he bragged about being able to grab women’s p—ies because he’s famous? That he is a 34x felon? A tax cheat? That he has been banned from participating in charities in NY state because he cheated a children’s cancer fund? That he is a serial liar? A convicted con man (Trump U)? That he is a mentally unstable, self absorbed narcissist?
Yeah, if y0u vote for him you will be voting for a world class jack—.

You describe exactly what the definition of “Political Persecution” is and how it unfolded. Thanks G.
Howard S. says
It is not political persecution if you’ve actually committed the crimes you’ve been accused of. His lawyers mounted essentially no defense in most of the trials because their client was guilty. Their defense was basically saying “yeah, but everyone does it, so, like, c’mon”
Gomez says
Kevin. Donald Trump is not a politician who is being accused of being a criminal. He is a criminal who is pretending to be a politician.
I’m voting for the prosecutor. You can keep the felon.
kevin says
Would that be an Indian or a Black woman?
Gomez says
Like I said, you can keep the convicted felon. I’m voting for the prosecutor.
