Tester stands up for Montana

August 27, 2024 by Guest Post

by Hillery Daily, Darby

I have been receiving postcards stating “Jon Tester voted with Biden 95% of the time!” The president doesn’t actually vote but I’ll assume they mean Biden signing Tester’s bills into law. Former president Trump signed 30 bills that Tester sponsored into law. Joe Biden has signed 26. This does not sound like “Tester is standing up for Joe Biden, not Montana.”

In fact, here are a few ways that Tester is standing up for Montana:

• sponsored into law over 3 dozen bills supporting veterans

• PACT Act with more than 35,000 Montana veterans screened for toxic exposure

• 12 new VA facilities opening or in planning and construction in MT

• funds to purchase 41 clean school buses for Montana schools

• millions in dollars for Montana’s roads, highways and bridges; rural water projects and to reduce wildfire risk nationwide

• $629 million for high speed internet infrastructure in Montana

• CHIPS act funding western Montana’s existing smart sensing technology with millions of dollars, to apply remote sensing for national security, natural resource management and disaster prevention

• $61,327,969 for Montana’s State Small Business Credit Initiative helping small businesses and startups grow and succeed

• lowered cost on many common prescriptions

• extends Affordable Care Act provisions to prevent price hikes for thousands of Montanans

• defeated a Biden proposal that would have negatively impacted family farms, ranches, and small businesses

Perhaps the Senate Leadership Fund needs a new research editor! Jon Tester has proved he stands up for Montana; Tim Sheehy has not.

Reading comprehension is hard. Tester Votes for Biden’s damaging Policies 95% of the time, it is that simple. He stands for the Regime, not for the good folks of Montana.
He Voted for the Inflation Reduction act, widely cited by economists as the single biggest reason for the inflation explosion.
I was assured by Obama that the Affordable Health Care Act would pay for itself by now, so why are we still funding it?
Sounds like your merry band of Democrat propagandists need a new research editor.

I have no memory of Obama ever saying the ACA would pay for itself. You may be confusing it with Trump’s tax cuts for the rich that were supposed to pay for themselves, but did nothing but blow a huge hole in the budget.

      Cav,
Of course he votes with the Democratic president 95 percent of the time. That’s what we Montana Democrats elected him to do.

Hillery absolutely researched all of this. I know because I helped her do the work. If you want to hate a fine man like Jon Tester, that’s on you. But don’t you lie about his many accomplishments or ever doubt his commitment to the state he loves.

Tainted Tester stands up for “out of state” money and thats it. You believe these ads. LOL None of it is remotely true. Do a little research.
