Jesus Christ is worshipped as the Son of God, Prince of Peace, and Savior of all mankind. As his mother’s son, he was of Semitic descent. As such, he had dark eyes, dark skin, and dark hair. The culture of his time informs that he had long wavy hair and a long beard.

Some self-identified Christian Republicans are requiring the Ten Commandments be displayed in public places, including in schools. This is absolutely unlawful, a clear violation to the Constitution.
The Ten Commandments were given to the Jewish people. These Commandments forbid amoral conduct like adultery, stealing, and bearing false witness.
Jesus Christ instructed his followers to love our neighbors. To define who are neighbors are, he told the story of a Good Samaritan, who was not Jewish.
I do not understand MAGA adherents, but respect their right to believe whatever they wish, as long as their actions do not harm others. Herd allegiances should never triumph over science, reality, scholarly linguistic research, and most importantly, the instructions of Jesus Christ.

The cool thing about god beliefs and Christianity is pretty much anyone can interpret the Bible anyway that personally suits themselves. It explains why there are more different Christian Sects, each with their own understand and interpretation of the words in the Bible than there are actual sentences in the Bible. People create gods in their own images. Say what you will about Donald Trump or the Westboro Baptist Church, both can find passages in the Bible that completely support and validate their own personal beliefs.
