Donald Trump denies calling veterans “suckers” and “losers” but General John Kelly quoted him, saying he is:
“A person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat, or spend years being tortured as POWs are all ‘suckers’ because ‘there is nothing in it for them.’ A person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me.’ A person who demonstrated open contempt for all Gold Star families” – on TV during the 2016 campaign — “and rants that our most precious heroes who gave their lives in America’s defense are ‘losers’ and wouldn’t visit their graves in France.”
Who do you believe? An esteemed general or a convicted felon? If he was a character in the Bible, he’d be named “Father of Lies.” Make that a Bible lesson to teach in public schools.
His persistent repetition of The Big Lie, claiming that he didn’t lose in 2020, viciously sparked a violent attack on our nation’s capital and continues to provoke violence.
The Biggest Loser is the Father of Lies, but the Biggest Suckers are those who believe in him.

Can’t say I am surprised by the vitriol in this letter but quoting Kelly is a bridge too far. No hands are clean in any of this and more than a few mouths in need of washing out. With that said, I care more about where the ball lands on the fairway than I do about his swing. No more war thank you very much…foreign or domestic.

Excellent letter. I almost feel sorry for those who have gone all in to defend him. I think that it is just incredibly embarrassing and difficult for anyone to admit that they’ve fallen victim to such an obviously flawed and dishonest con man, so rather than put down the shovel, they just keep ion digging.
