So, they must maintain a winning mindset. Israel must not allow the world to judge them. What the world thinks is the world’s opinion. Being forced to look for acceptance and approval only means you will fall short. Opinion does not matter. Opinion does not win a war.
There is no try for Israel. They must do their best to save the most for their people, their country, their future. What Israel thinks about their mission is the critical piece to a winning mindset. Total destruction of Hamas is the necessary deterrence.
Four Star General Jack Keane (US Ret.) said it best. Deterrence has two factors: capability and conviction. Demonstrate your capability and tell the enemy with conviction what will happen.
Hamas will learn deterrence in a sequential process of interlinked concepts. Strength comes from Israel’s ability to link concepts together. The government is linked to the military. The military is linked to the people. The strength of the people is the backbone of Israel. Hamas has no understanding of such concepts.
Across our country and around the world, protesters are attacking Israel. They blame Israel for attacking Hamas and killing innocent civilians. Hamas savages poured into Israel aiming to kill everyone in sight.
Will President Biden stand with Israel against the protesters? What has Biden learned in his own sequential process of interlinked concepts? Joe missed the advantageous concept of energy independence. He missed closing our southern border. And who in the world missed Biden’s shameful withdrawal from Afghanistan? But credit must be given to President Biden for simply using one strong word. He told other terrorists not to think about joining Hamas. He said: “Don’t.”
Will we get help from Congress? Republicans are fighting with each other. The House is without a Speaker. Democrats are normally in lockstep with their beliefs. But now, Democrats won’t even deal with their own anti-semitic members. Fire alarm, anyone?
Drastic change is needed. But what can we, the people do? We are the United States of America, leader of the free world. Did we achieve this great distinction because of freedom, democracy and military power? Was it because of our Bill of Rights and simple human logic?
Let’s consider General George Washington when he was faced with losing the Revolutionary War. John Locke had a huge influence on the Founding Father’s. And the Bible was the only common text uniting people from different backgrounds. While Washington was contemplating choices, weighing danger and risk, a new idea might have formed. Washington’s mindset may have linked Proverbs with John Locke’s written opinion against the Divine Right of Kings. Proverbs 14:12, interpreted, said simply: “Rely on human logic to chart the course of your life, and it will lead you on a path to hell.” A loss to the British Crown was a sentence for hell on earth. A traitor would be hung, drawn and quartered.
General Washington chose to do his best for the most, his men and his future country. He was mindful of John Locke’s words: “If people can’t fulfill a just cause by appealing to earthly laws and rulers, they can make an appeal to Heaven to reach justice.”
General George Washington flew the White Pine Tree flag on his ships as a symbol for peace and the appeal to Heaven. The tide of war turned and a new nation under God was born.
Today, that same nation under Biden has a monstrous national debt, a vicious rate of inflation, and a vulnerable southern border. Crime waves lay siege to our rule of law. The path of human logic has taken our country to the brink of hell.
China is behind Russia, who is involved in a land war in Ukraine. China is behind Iran, who gives Hamas marching orders and keeps Hezbollah on a short leash. Israel stands alone, defending her right to exist. Crazed protesters see only the oppressed and the oppressors. And no matter the heinous crimes of Hamas, they take the side of the “oppressed” Palestinians— who voted in the vile Hamas.
Our last great hope is to turn our hearts and minds back to God. Our missing link is an appeal to Heaven for justice on earth. Please, let’s all of us join together. Please make your appeal to Heaven, over and over and over again. . .
