I did attend the 2022 Bobcat Lane H.O.A Summer meeting and was surprised at the lack of candor and knowledge displayed at the event. In showing a lack of respect, for the board, 100% of the members were tardy, and one board member was absent, without a substitute being selected. Each member was given a copy of the several opinions, concerning the H.O.A published by the Bitterroot Star. A member remarked about the attendance at the meeting. I also was concerned, as we had the attendance REQUIRED, to add or delete convents by vote as expected.
Many members contacted me, and complained about this serious injustice, and requested that another legal complaint be initiated by the D.M.L. Law offices. My thoughts on this are….. The membership voted for ignorance and this is what they get! Another simple-minded remark was that only issues regarding our road could be legally enforced. As members purchase a property, they agree to abide by the covenants, which are enforced by the court system of Montana. The most intelligent remark was made concerning tons of beach ball size rocks along the shoulder of Bobcat Lane. Upon hearing this remark, I contacted the contractor involved, who had the boulders removed. Any person indicating that I have bitterness towards the contractor is “foolish” as only the elected board has authority over this issue. In closing, a buyer may add a duplex to my lot, as is needed for a large extended Hispanic family, relocating from Texas.
