I’m writing today to encourage folks to vote YES for the Hamilton School District’s Bond and Levy. As someone who went through the Hamilton school system in the 80’s and 90’s and was in the first class to graduate from the “new” high school in 2001, I benefited from previous generation’s support of our excellent school system. Our Kindergarten-4th graders and our 9th-12th graders get to learn in great facilities. Let’s band together as a community so our 5th-8th graders have the opportunity to learn in a modern building that is built with their age group in mind. Hamilton is growing and we need a school that can accommodate that growth. I know the price tag is high, but it will never be lower and this is an issue that isn’t going to go away. Let’s be proactive and build a school that future generations will thank us for 30 years down the road!
