Simple questions for Ms. Manzella, Chair of the Montana Freedom Caucus. Under what authority is she given the power to expel anyone from the Republican Party? And, other than his disagreements with the tenants of the John Birch Society (one and the same as disagreeing with Ms. Manzella), what are the “charges” against the former Republican Governor of Montana and Nation Republican Party Chairman Mark Racicot? How is it the Freedom Caucus stands by the remarkable dishonesty of George Santos? He remains in “good standing with the Freedom Caucus no matter the admission of his entirely falsified life?
How is it, when a Neo Nazi foursome is “touring” the halls of Congress, to everyone’s knowledge, seeking publicity opportunity with lawmakers, it somehow escapes our own Matt Rosendale who willingly stands in for a photo shoot (the only lawmaker to do so). He later claimed he did not know who they were which is perhaps the most worrisome part of it all. It looks to me Ms Manzella’s focus on “freedom” is through narrowest lens of the organization that leaked out of the death of the atrocious era of Mc Carthyism; the John Birch Society.
I am presently a registered Democrat but Ms Manzella’s presumed “authority” has me thinking to re-register as a Republican and dare her to “expel” me. Mark Racicot has the freedom to belong to any political party he chooses and to agree or disagree with fellow party members. So do I. Apparently Ms Manzella’s notions of freedom demand fealty to her particular view of the world. I’ll take Racicot’s view along with all those who serve in office and their efforts serve ALL well.

This was a nice reply to the Freedom Caucus that has nothing to do about “freedom.” Legislators Like Manzella who blocks folks from her various Facebook pages as they disagree with her statements and thinking is a poor choice to head anything with the word “freedom” in it. She is all show and no substance, and no freedom.
