The North Valley Pachyderms are supposed to be the “educational arm of the Republican Party.” They did some maneuvers last month to make sure the RINO’s are now in control of the NVP, so if you attend one of these meetings, just beware that you are being led astray about what is really going on. I think they call it misinformation. These days, you really have to be a self researcher (not Wikipedia or Google), so you are educated about what the enemy is doing. The enemy’s greatest strength is deception and he uses people to further his agenda, which is to destroy everything God created. “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” This is what the enemy is after. He wants to destroy this country and use its founding document and those ignorant to it, to achieve it.
At their last meeting, Feb. 3, the NVP had a speaker, who gave “their opinion” of what a Convention of States is; a controlled process of opening our Constitution to change. They do not quote the Constitution, instead they have their own COS pocket guide, that was written by lawyers, to misrepresent the truth of Article V. Lawyers? You will hear things like, “This is not a Constitutional Convention” or “It is in the Constitution,” or “The States can control it” or “They can rein in the government” and “balance the budget” and “mandate term limits,” all with adding “limited” Amendments to the Constitution, which is being completely ignored today. At no time have we heard them say anything about the 10th Amendment. So if I am hearing them correctly, they want our current Congress to propose amendments to control themselves? Because if you READ Article V, Congress is in control, not the states. They seem to have a magical box that we are not privy to, that will somehow MAKE legislatures DO THEIR JOB. Well, if they have such a box, why don’t they just use it today? IF we would hold our Legislators to follow the Constitution as written, we would be on the right track to balancing the budget (Article 1, section 8), reining in the federal government (10th Amendment) and We the People would control term limits.
Yes, Article V is in the Constitution. It is scary how so many words have been added to it to make it something it is not. Its purpose is to correct any flaws in the US Constitution and I have asked before to show me the flaws, with no response. The flaw is in Congress, who has no accountability because We the People have neglected our duties. We have the right guide book, we need to use it.
Yes, there have been many “Conventions of the States” throughout history. Here is the deception. States have had Conventions to do business as a State, hence; a Convention of the States. What this current COS is proposing is a Federal Constitutional Convention because it is attempting to open the U.S. Constitution, not just do business as a state. Do you see the difference? The words get twisted to throw you off and make it sound like such an easy process. An Article V Convention is a U.S. Constitutional Convention that has not happened for 235 years! Don’t let the easy fix, smooth words of the lawyers fool you.

Terri doesn’t know of what she speaks much Like Senator Manzella when it comes to the Constitution and especially article V. IF either one ever actually studied the Constitution and increased their knowledge they would be well thought of – now they are looked at as “”oh them again??” YAWN!

This is how misinformation begins.
1 – you were NOT there, you did NOT hear what was said. You either assuming what was said, or getting second or third hand.
2 – there has never been a Convention of States, let alone the “many” you mention. If I am wrong, give me the date(s) it occured. I haven’t found it.
3 – the speaker never claimed to be a Republican. She is proudly a Libertarian. But you were not there to hear that.
This is how misinformation starts; presumption, assumption and the ignoring of facts and the shouting down of facts and opinions you do not agree with. That is not “educational”.

This post is funny since Terry was not even AT my presentation. I sourced everything I presented with actual historical documents, including the Constitution, I deliberately DID NOT use any sources provided by COS and made sure to STRESS that. Because unlike the John Birch Society, I encourage people to check political activists against authoritative sources. I handed out ALL my sources for people to fact check my presentation and used sources from University Historical societies, Constitutional Law Professors who have written arguments before the Supreme Court, Wallbuilders, Prager U, The Goldwater Institute, and the Constitution Center. I also provided copies of all the legislative bills that I referenced. Terry would know that if she was actually there. I specifically told the room to fact check everything I presented and gave them ALL my sources in writing.
