Bitterroot Valley high school golfers from Corvallis, Hamilton, and Stevensville competed in the Class A State golf tournament on Friday, September 30th and Saturday, October 1st at the Hamilton Golf Club. The Hamilton girls’ team of Emma Hollingsworth, Bryn Cianflone, Brooklyn Brown, Fern Stewart, and McKinley Murray came away with a runner-up trophy. Individually, Hollingsworth finished in 6th place, Brown finished 14th, Cianflone was 19th, Stewart was 21st, and Murray was 33rd.
The Hamilton boys’ team of Cole Dickemore, Max Cianflone, Jackson Heath, Tyce O’Connell, and Carson Richie took 5th place. Individually, Cianflone finished in 7th place, Heath finished 12th, Dickemore tied for 18th, Richie was 34th, and O’Connell was 35th.
The Corvallis boys’ team of Brady Powell, Tag Jessop, Tate Jessop, Aden Fisher, and Shane Lachenauer took 6th place. Individually, Powell finished 9th, Tag and Tate Jessop tied for 18th, Fisher was 44th, and Lachenauer was 49th.
For Stevensville, Cambree Praast finished in 24th place, while Cheyenne Sannar finished 28th.
