I hear so much about transgenders these days and how they are poisoning the minds of our young people to believe that they are one gender trapped in another gender.
The fact that our brains aren’t developed until the mid 20’s means that “legal adults” ( those age 18 +) are allowed to make adult decisions, without fully mature brains. Someone who is 18 may make riskier decisions that someone in their mid-20’s in part due to lack of experience, but primarily due to an underdeveloped brain. All behaviors and experiences you endure until age of 25 have potential to impact your developing brain. This is from Mental Health Daily. Men’s Health also agrees with this statement from Dr. F. Jensen.
Many of the schools are telling children they need to change their sex and I might add without parents’ permission. Very dangerous and wrong!
If children’s brains are not fully developed until their mid 20’s there is no way a child or teen is capable of making these serious decisions.
There is no long term study on the effects of these decisions and how they will later affect a person. Those who want to transgender must take hormone therapy and reconstructive surgery such as face, chest, genital, adams apple and breasts. Do you really think children can reason out all the effects that this will have on them in the long run—or even if they are sorry later and want to change their mind? The National Library of Medicine’s study found that 82% of transgenders consider suicide or actually kill themselves. Watching a child go through such serious surgery, not understanding what they are doing, breaks my heart.
I have watched a movie called “ What is a Woman” and they speak to adults that have done transgender hormones and surgery and many flat out regret what they have done. One person tells how that now having to take long term hormones, is now facing cancer because of these hormones. These are things that they are not telling your children! This movie will give you much insight into this matter and is worth seeing.
People WAKE UP, stop schools from teaching these horrible things to children, get more involved and stop this madness before our children are so messed up they also want to commit suicide.

When my kids were in school here in the valley, I just told them “Sometimes you might have a teacher that you might disagree with or that you think might be wrong about something. That’s ok. Teachers are just like anyone else in the world, there’s all kinds. Smart, dumb, nice, not so nice, liberal and conservative etc.” I gave them my permission to respectfully speak up and challenge any teacher, any time. I had no fear of my kids being “indoctrinated “, because I knew that they were smart and were excellent critical thinkers. Those that live in terror that their kids might be “led astray” by a teacher simply because they are presented alternative perspectives or opinions than they might get at home need to give their kids a little more credit. You don’t prepare your children for the real world by hiding it from them.

Thats really good Gomez. I think parents that are afraid of indoctrination are usually the ones that are afraid to say p _ n i s and v _ g i n a to their kids. Note: edited to avoid the puritanical censors.

Thank you. It just makes sense, to teach children to be thinkers, and to not just blindly accept something just because someone in a position of authority may say it. To try and shield them from diverse opinions and perspectives does them no good when they enter the real world.
While I let my kids know that I would always have their back if they questioned or challenged a teacher, the other part of that was that they had to be respectful, and, just as importantly, they had to do their research so they could support their case using hard data and verified fact. One of them had a red hat supporter as a teacher and whenever he would try and sneak some trumpian bs into class she would call him on it. Eventually he stopped because, well, it’s a little embarrassing to have a high school sophomore call you out in front of the entire class and expose that they have a better grasp on the facts than the teacher. 🙂

There are two genders and 31 kinds of gay. That’s it. If I identify as a turtle that doesn’t make me a turtle, it makes me mentally sick. Society does no favor to those poor souls by playing along with their mental sickness. Call it what it is.

John Gibney, dogs tend to bark a lot when they’re anxious or nervous about something. You sure are barking quite a bit in your LTE here. Makes one wonder if you’re nervous about something. Maybe something in your closet you’d like to share with us? Let it out and it may very well help with your anxiety issues.

People have identified as transgender for hundreds of years. It is not a new phenomenon. What has changed is societal acceptance of non-conformance with assigned gender.
It is curious that you bring up the suicide rate of transgender-identifying individuals as an argument against them. It’s a shocking number that causes a strong reaction in others, for sure. But as soon as you examine the reasons for this figure, you will realize that it says absolutely nothing about the validity of being transgender and says everything about the vast amount of progress that still needs to be made in our acceptance of it. Hate crimes against trans and gender-non-conforming people have risen by 587% from 2013 to 2019, according to the FBI. In actuality, the rate may be even higher, because of underreporting. Cisgender individuals have 32% higher wages on average than those who are trans. I have trans friends who have been victims of hate crimes in the Bitterroot Valley- teenagers, no less. It breaks my heart to say that.
They are people, too. They are as deserving of love and compassion as you or I. I suggest you speak to someone who is trans to see for yourself that they are neither sick nor perverted.
Mike Mercer says
You strip parents of their right to decide what their children are exposed to in the name of compassion but dictating terms is all I see and that makes people angry, not hateful. Walk a mile in their shoes is good advice but it works both ways.

I am a student of Hamilton School District. The notion that students are being taught to abandon their assigned gender at birth, or even critical race theory, is false. The curriculum is much the same as it was a decade ago.
If you are unwilling to take my word for it, you can always volunteer for the school. You have the option to see for yourself what students are being taught while contributing your time to a worthy cause.
Mike Mercer says
I have no doubt that you speak the truth, but we are more fortunate than other parts of the country and that is the take-away here. What happens elsewhere can find its way here if we don’t stand up for our fellow Countrymen…stay involved Will Walker.
Bill Stroud says
The “take-away here” is that you just got smacked down by a credible voice refuting this whole ‘indoctrination’ lunacy. Your quote “ So without being in the classroom, no “Direct Evidence” can be submitted. Very clever,” rings sooo hollow. Well, there ya go, Direct Evidence and an invite to witness for yourself. So typical, when confronted with the truth you tweak elements (OK, it’s not happening here but elsewhere) of the conspiracy as a cover for your ignorance….very clever. My suggestion, turn off Fox News and take Will up on his offer.

According to the Bible both Eve & Jesus were trans;
“God reached into Adam, pulled out a bit of rib bone, and grew Eve from that XY DNA into Adam’s companion. She was created genetically male, and yet trans-formed into woman.
Then along comes Jesus and the whole pattern is both repeated and reversed. The first couple’s refusal to cooperate is turned around by Mary’s yes, and the second act of cloning occurs. The Holy Spirit comes upon the second Eve, and the child takes flesh from her and is born. Born of her flesh. Born with XX chromosome pairing. Born genetically female, and yet trans-formed into man.”

PS. The Bible makes no mention of which bathrooms that they used.
Clark and Helene Lee says
There has long been a problem in public education with the lack of parental participation in their children’s education. Teachers work eight hours a day five days a week on a room full of kids that then go home and return on monday without a clue about what happened last week. The over acheiving kid’s parents won’t leave the teachers alone, and the kids who need help, you will never see their parents.
These days, I imagine the last thing a teacher wants is a ‘helecopter’ parent in their classroom and worse yet a ‘thumper’.
These OVER WORKED and grosely underpaid people, who raise all our children (except the rich) deserve more respect than this imaginary, perverse nonsense that is being thrown at them.
Mike Mercer says
You strike me as someone with a background in science and education which translates to focused. People do not trust anything government and with good reason…lousy track record. I would like to share something a bit off topic but on point with trust issues.
This is taken from the “Rocky Mountain Black Conservatives” Website on what the “Model Cities Program” has wrought after passage of President Lyndon Johnsons Great Society and War on Poverty in 1966
“This Nations slide down into the abyss of insanity started in 1965 when those, who have since been proven idiots, declared some races as special rather than equal. In effect, those races were told by this Nations leaders that no matter what you do, you will be excused because you are special. Today, this Nation is reaping the wrath of that Congressional Bill.”
Rich kids Vs poor kids? That’s it? A little due diligence may help your focus. I assume “Thumper” refers to Christian…tsk, tsk.
Clark P Lee says
Well, you got the off topic part right.
craig johnson says
“Many of the schools are telling children they need to change their sex and I might add without parents’ permission”
Please provide direct evidence of this. Just like the claim that schools are teaching critical race theory, this will also prove false.
Mike Mercer says
So without being in the classroom, no “Direct Evidence” can be submitted. Very clever, as parents who voice opposition are labeled threats and not allowed in the classroom. Yes, yes, I know, direct evidence. Nice to have such a strong shield to a version of truth you disagree with…try debate instead, it’s the American way.
Hsabin says
Agree! Schools should be sued and anyone encouraging changes should be jailed.
Gomez says
What crime would you charge the teachers with? Please be specific and provide the exact Montana criminal statute/law and code number. Thanks in advance,
