Former Congressman Ryan Zinke. His voting record in Congress is horrid. He missed 8.7% of his (our) votes from 2015~2017 while serving as our Congressman. The voting record median of missed votes being 2.5%.
Yeah, pretty bad for Montana when our only voice was his. Though it pales in comparison to his vote after elected again in 2018. He voted once. In effect Montana didn’t have a voice in the people’s house.
I am not able to support someone who consistently fails to show up. Zinke was not able to represent me. He wouldn’t vote. He didn’t have a problem collecting his paycheck however. He had his chance to represent Montana. He shouldn’t have the opportunity to fail Montana again.
Monica Tranel on the other hand is already fighting to represent Montana in our nation’s capital. Smart, tough and ready to represent. Now that’s my idea of having a voice in Congress!
