I am personally tired of hearing about Roe Vs Wade. To start there was no Roe Vs Wad before 1973, now all of a sudden many think it is their Constitutional right. Sorry folks it is not a right try using birth control! The Federal Government had not the right to give money to any one or clinic for an abortion it is not in the Constitution. This decision belongs to the states! What is NOT in the Constitution belongs to the states to make decisions on these issues, so stop whining about rights, it is not your right.
I do not want to hear about rape, incest or endangerment, there have always been abortions for those who have needed them in those situations. Why should we the people who do not believe in abortion have to pay for your mistakes or lack of responsibility to use birth control our problem. It’s your problem not ours, if you want an abortion then you pay for it. If you want to be fair then everyone should pay for those who have babies and care about giving life inside them a chance to live a full life. Right now all you see is one side your selfish ways and yours alone.
I am also sick of hearing my body my choice. The body inside you is not yours! This body belongs to the little person who lives there until it is time for it to join the rest of the human race. Sorry if you made a bad choice but there are responsibilities and consequences for all actions. A mature person lives up to their mistakes and does not try to pass it on to someone else. There are contraceptives in every drug store, supermarket, not to mention morning after pill, patches, intrauterine devices, and the pill.
Yes I do know people who have had an abortion and this is one side no one wants to hear, the mental anguish that has followed them for many years because they could not forgiven themselves. I have listened to their hearts and tears and saw how their heart ached over the wrong they had committed. Some cry every time they think about what would have been their child’s birthday or what they would be like today.
Abortion is a serious thing and not to be taken lightly, choose life. If you don’t want a child then use protection.

I too am happy to see the return of Dee Gibney. Helen Sabin has been the runaway favorite for ‘Worst Person in the Bitterroot – 2022’ award all year long. Now we have a real match race between these two truly awful people!

Perfectly stated David! It’s also funny how both Dee and Helen hide behind their judgemental and sanctimonious nonsense. They show up and spout nonsense. I don’t see either of them out marching for what they believe in. (I don’t think they can March and just hide behind their keyboards and hang out at the “Frontier” in Stevi with their “friends” and the likes of “Godzilla” who is completely unhinged).

Hey Gibney, tell us how you really feel. I can just imagine you screaming bloody murder when confronted with a mask mandate….”MY BODY, MY CHOICE!”. Yup, not gonna let the gub’mt tell me what to do with my body.

Laurie,
Another person’s body is “none of my business”! I completely agree with that statement. That other person needs to keep their misgivings out of my Government and out of my Bank Account.
Laurie says
Dee! Where have you been?? We haven’t seen any of your rants for a long time! Wow! Thought you’d left the root. What is Roe vs Wad??? Your usual finger pointing rant sings of judgement and ignorance as usual. By the way, birth control can and does fail on occasion. Have you not heard of that. Another person’s body is none of your business nor is it if they are pregnant or not. Perhaps we wouldn’t have these issues if men could get pregnant (not only could they not handle the pain of giving birth, there’d be abortion clinics on every corner if men had to accept responsibility for not keeping it in their pants). Also, please work on your punctuation and proper sentencing. Your rants are painful to read.

Just wondering how many unwanted newborns have you taken in and raised???
Women who do not have the option to terminate a pregnancy, regardless of the reason they would choose to do so, will be forced to carry a child to term and will not take care of their body and will abuse drugs, etc., etc. etc. Are you going to be in line to adopt the newborn who is unhealthy, addicted to drugs, has mental and physical challenges due to the lack of care by the mother during pregnancy? Every single one of you who feel a woman should not have the choice to terminate a pregnancy should be required to adopt and raise everyone of those newborns! I doubt any of you would do so nor have you to date and that is pure hypocrisy!
Laurie says
Cynthia: you nailed it!
