To my Republican friends and neighbors,
I am sure many of you are rejoicing now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned. The fact that five of our bastions of law had to lie to Congress to make this happen doesn’t bother you any. But, please ask yourself if you will adopt any of these unwanted children? If you will help families who can’t afford another child? If you plan on fighting poverty and hunger for children? If you will take in a young girl or woman who is a victim of rape or incest and comfort her for nine months by reassuring her it is God’s will? Will you take in a child when the doctor says during the pregnancy the child will be deformed mentally or physically for life but the state forces it to be born?
Will you aid a family that loses a mother because some states won’t even allow an abortion to save the mother’s life? Do you think you or the state is smart enough to know in every case whether the pain of giving up a child, or caring for a child you can’t have in your life, or having an abortion is worse?
These are rhetorical questions you don’t have to answer because we already know your response. It’s ironic that at the same time the Supremes are trying to force more unwanted kids to be born they made it difficult to impossible for states to pass or enforce gun safety measures to protect these kids.
Alito’s reasoning was the Constitution doesn’t mention abortions; therefore, they aren’t Constitutionally protected. Watch out! The Constitution doesn’t protect birth control, your right to own cars, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, or semi-automatic weapons. None of these are Constitutionally protected. Who knows what of yours they will come after next.
Unwanted pregnancies are the will of God, you say. Then forcing them to be born and suffering and pain, poverty, food insecurity for children, all from depriving women of their freedom must also be the will of God. Rejoice in your forcing your interpretation of the will of God on others by supporting the liars and cheats who put liars and cheats on the Supreme Court.

Hmmmm, you must be trolling because no woman can seriously be this dense. All pregnancies don’t just originate from an ‘oops moment’.
-rape
-incest
-defective control
I assume in your narrow little world one cannot grasp why all women don’t carry to term regardless of any outlying circumstances. Birth control from Walmart. So that’s your silver bullet for addressing this very personal issue for millions?
All hope is lost.

One quick question – how about women and men using birth control? Isn’t it their responsibility to do so? OR should many of the women who get pregnant but don’t want the fetus be allowed to use abortions as birth control? IF so, are they paying for that procedure? Or is insurance paying? Hmmmm? Why can’t men use condoms? Why can’t women go to Walmart and pay $9.00 a month for Birth control? Please explain!

My comment was directed at you Helen and I meant to say “All unwanted pregnancies don’t just originate from an ‘oops moment’.”
