Some investing advice for the morally bankrupt, yet savvy investor. The industrial military complex should be a solid bet for the next year or, well, probably until the dark clouds of the Apocalypse overtake us. The last few years it was the pharmaceutical companies’ turn but the tides have changed and now the playmakers will toss a bone in the direction of the more overtly bloodthirsty. Well over a hundred billionaires were created in the pharmaceutical sector over the last 2 years, yay science, and fair is fair, so now it’s the other hell-spawn, evil twin’s turn. Here’s a recent quote from Greg Hayes, Raytheon’s (major weapons manufacturer) CEO, “Everything that’s being shipped into Ukraine today, of course, is coming out of stockpiles either at DoD or from our NATO allies, and that’s all great news. Eventually we’ll have to replenish it and we will see a benefit to the business…” if that does not completely astound and sicken you perhaps there are larger spiritual issues you should contend with before reading further. Next time you see a current events story that triggers an emotional response from you, that targets your humanity, manipulates your moral outrage towards a world leader somewhere across the globe, remember this quote and consider that there may be a covert game being played that requires your participation.
The dewy-eyed concern-bots that populate mainstream media are full-tilt boogie in convincing us that we need to send our blood, sweat and dollars (up next, our children) to some distant continent to defend demonocracy (interesting, my spell-check did not flag that) aka uni-polar world order. This is not about the actual ethics of some foreign leader’s punch-first national policy, I say all governments’ monopoly on violence be damned! This, for me, is about our necessary participation in the bloody thing. Looking around at the insanity of western educated (maybe that’s the problem) populations lining up to lend their full moral support yet again to yet another bloody foreign incursion.
People! Do you have no memory, no inclination to judge the current US and NATO foreign policy aspiration by their past debacles? Let me run a few names past you and see if anything comes up, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq…. Millions dead and trillions of dollars vaporized in a cordite and body strewn hellscape. Why in God’s name do you think that this time it’ll be different? That this time, yes, this time government and media (but I repeat myself) have it right? Hey, antiwar lefties, where you at? Maybe now would be a potentially prescient time to resurrect your long-lost moral outrage.
Seriously, stop playing the abused spouse here and hold these ghouls accountable with the only non-violent measure that is effective. Stop listening to them, literally turn it off. NPR, FOX, CNN…ALL OF THEM. If they come up on the first page of a Google search, ignore it. This is triage item #2; DISCONNECT (Item #1 being the above-mentioned spiritual state of you). Step #3 may or may not be finding an alternative source of news. Corporate and big-tech censorship have made it so that you do have to apply some effort to find these independent and unaffiliated voices, but that very fact is a sort of litmus test in itself! If they have not been kicked off one or more of the major tech platforms of the day they are likely controlled or worse, controlled opposition.
We must stop enabling with our money and eyeballs. Kinetic, active resistance will have its place, but that’s asking a lot of the gas-lighted general public. For now, I implore you to fire your information czar and although Lent is past us consider a media fast. We could all use the time to start addressing item #1 on the list.

Scott Turner, what are your sources of accurate news?
Alan says
Scott Turner bravo. It’s about time somebody had a well thought out and articulate point of view on here.
