What are their positions?

May 24, 2022 by Guest Post

by Helen Sabin, Corvallis

What a shame that we do NOT really know the positions of both Alan Lackey and Wayne Rusk on topics of importance to voters in the HD88 district but we have seen lots and lots of wild claims and mud-slinging done by their supporters.

How about the candidates telling us what they intend to do if elected on topics such as improving road conditions in Montana and especially the Bitterroot Valley? What about reducing regulations for starting small businesses? What about reducing real-estate taxes?  How about demanding our state’s rights back from the Federal government? Etc.etc.

But then, that doesn’t get folks emotionally upset does it? Was that the actual goal? OR do voters in HD 88 care?

    Ummm, what??
    Have you been listening??
Two key dogs in the fight are Convention of States and Nullification.
You specifically stated “how about demanding our states rights back from the federal government.” Do you know what nullification is?? May want to know that answer and look around a bit and you will see where Alan stands on that (for) and where Wayne stands on that (against).

Wayne has personally gone door to door to talk to people. If anyone wants to know what his position is all they have to do is reach out and call him. He is very open . .

Be sure to ask him about the money he has taken from the the out of State group supporting the Convention of States or also know as the ConCon to the tune of over $48,000.
