Support for Rusk

May 18, 2022 by Guest Post

by Patricia Earnest, Stevensville

If you want someone to represent you with conservative constitutional values who is a man of faith, vote for Wayne Rusk. He supports our Constitution and rule of law, parental rights, 2nd Amendment, fiscal responsibility, election integrity, responsible forest management, and is against mandates and critical race theory. We are blessed to have this man, with the support of his wife Carrie, desiring to serve us as our HD 88 representative.

This HD race has been quite an eye opener into the candidate’s character.

I’m sure that you have seen all the signs. You may not know that one candidate, Alan Lackey, is not getting permission to put his signs on private property and is also removing his opponent’s signs. That is egotistical and downright wrong. He has also been known to see a new sign go up for Wayne Rusk and follow with lies to convince that person to put his up instead. Another difference is who is knocking on doors and handing out flyers. Wayne Rusk is doing all of this for himself. Wouldn’t you rather meet the candidate themselves and share your thoughts?

And then there is the letter that I received from Senator Theresa Manzella telling me that I am wrong to support Wayne Rusk and need to support her choice. I honestly thought that this was a letter from Helena to her constituent. Instead, she only sent it to those of us who have already financially supported Wayne. She has a right to her opinion but to use her Senate position, letterhead, and title to try to sway my vote has crossed a very ethical line.

I do a lot of research before I vote and like to get to know the candidate. I have known Wayne Rusk for six years. I have watched him work towards this goal by spending time in Helena, getting to know our legislators and the process that happens that affects our entire State. We call Wayne a “statesman” which is someone who does everything for the common good of the people he represents, as well as one who is versed in the principles or art of government, especially one engaged in conducting the business of a government or in shaping its policies.

I consider his opponent to be a typical politician who will say or do anything to get elected or to gain power. Lackey is all about power and control. If he doesn’t agree with something, he wants to change it, including nullifying parts of our Constitution. He leads a group that has openly formed a militia. He is very deceptive and would like for you to think that he has your best interests at heart, using scriptures, but again, the militia and the Tactical Civics that he presents is about control and power. I have witnessed he and his wife try to bully and intimidate our Sheriff Holton, asking him to openly embrace them to assist with law enforcement. They continue to challenge our commissioners and make their jobs harder. These people are radical extremists who cause hate and division wherever they go and do now belong in our Montana legislature.

Please consider this as you vote and choose Wayne Rusk.
