Support for Mell

May 18, 2022 by Guest Post

by Michael Ames, Retired (26 yrs.) Detective, Pierce County Sheriff’s Dept., Camano, WA

Re: Joan Mell for Ravalli County Attorney

I have known Joan for approximately 15 years. She is a well-known supporter of police and a go to attorney for police officers. I retained her to represent me to defend the work I did in a criminal investigation. In that case, the county attorney’s office wanted to withhold the evidence I found that the suspect in the case was arrested without probable cause. The prosecutor’s office refused to bring this evidence to the court’s attention to free the individual. To silence me, the prosecuting attorney’s office put me on a “Brady” list saying I was being untruthful. As a result, I hired Joan Mell. She saved my reputation and got me off the “Brady” list, which restored my police credibility. Joan has been a huge advocate for other police officers like me who have been wrongfully accused of dishonesty by corrupt officials who do not care about the truth.

Joan and I have remained friends since my retirement, and I was glad to see that she has decided to devote her work as a lawyer to her fellow Montanans. Joan has strong Republican values, and she is pro police. She is

straightforward, assertive, and can protect her community from civil lawsuits and bad government policies. I have no doubt, Joan will make the safety of your community her top priority!

VOtE FOR A TRUE LOCAL CITIZEN, Bill Fullbright, whom we know is a Bitterrooter, not a Washington State transplant and opportunist like Joan Mell.

When you garden, diseases in plants can often spread from one area to another. This often happens when transplants get put among those that grow well in the local conditions. The same is true with attorneys. Will the valley become infected with Democratic radical values in the form of Joan mell who is trying desperately to convince us that she is from Montana? If you look at the facts, her actions, and still think that she won’t infect our DA’s office with Democratic, radical values such as releasing those who steal from stores or riot and burn with no penalty. then I have a bridge to sell you.

Just ask why if she is a “local” did she vote in Washington State? Why her law firm is in Washington State? And her home is in Washington state? Her friends are in Washington state?

Further, her values are not those of the Bitterroot valley-they can’t be when she voted for the radical Patty Murray a Democrat in Congress who praised Osama Bin Laden stating: “He’s been out in these countries for decades, building schools, building roads, building infrastructure, building day-care facilities, building health-care facilities, and the people are extremely grateful. He’s made their lives better.” What does that say about Ell’s values?

Using Mell’s logic, if a Muslim warlord moves here and pays for daycare facilities we should allow him to kill non-Muslims as long as he pays for our kids to go to daycare? Mexican cartels do this to get votes and so do DEMOCRATS like Mell and Biden by allowing millions of illegals to flood our country. That clearly shows MELL’s values as she is a DEMOCRAT. Republicans, unless they are RINOS like MELL and Mitt Romney, do NOT vote for Democrats and perpetuate their values.

But….but…MELL claims that her family lived here. Yeah so did mine in the 1800’s. My relatives are buried in Corvallis cemetery and in Billings. So what? I live here, vote here, and own property here. I don’t have a business, live, work or vote in another state. IF you live, vote, and work in Washington state that doesn’t make you a local.

DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS female who stretches the truth. We have enough of them in Pelosi, AOC. Jen Psaki, and Patti Murray all Democrats. Does that tell you what MELL really is? Actions show the truth of a person.

Joan Mell did not reside in the State of Montana on Nov. 2, 2021, because she apparently exercised her right to vote in the State of Washington State on that date. Mell did not register to vote in Ravalli County until Feb. 25, 2022, according to a lawsuit filed against her.

Vote FOR Bill Fulbright who we KNOW is a local and upholds our values and laws – he doesn’t stretch them as MELL does.

But she would make a good pizza chef – you know the ones who stretch out the balls of pizza dough into a large flat crust. Maybe she could get a job at a pizza store. Now there’s an idea I could get behind.

      Helen and friends,

I have Montana roots far deeper than what a weed puller or backhoe could tear out. My formative years from age four to twenty-one with four certificates of graduation from Montana schools did not disappear from my soul or resume when I went to Washington. By 2003, I found my way back to MT and have grounded myself in Ravalli County where I feel safe at home. What I have learned from Washington has not blurred my values, but rather exposed me to epic failures in public policy that prove there are limits to benevolence. As your County Attorney my job will be to protect Ravalli County from all threats civil and criminal. I have both barrels loaded and am ready to serve. Give ‘Em Mell!

Well here’s the deal. Bill has not done his job in my eyes. He has cases he’s not prosecuted that should not still be sitting in his office years later. I don’t know much about Mell but she’s getting my vote. I’m praying she does the job as she has promised. Can’t be any less effect then Bill has been in my opinion.
