I just received an NRA endorsement for a senator candidate in my district. However, my husband, Joede Vanek, running against this candidate also completed the NRA’s survey to be endorsed. Why didn’t I receive that one as well? Are only incumbents endorsable by big corporations and non-profits?
Joede has been an NRA member for 45 years. He always had a passion in shooting sports since he was a kid which developed into his 20 year law enforcement career. And for the last seven years, he has been educating and training our son firearms safety/handling/shooting. In addition, this included 100’s of videos throughout social media to offer training, not just for youth but for all ages. His social media presence has reached over 350 million viewers. He reached out to the NRA multiple times over the years, two directly at a trade show where he could talk to a rep at their booth to see if he could be utilized by the NRA to help promote youth education in firearms. Every contact with them ended in dead water. However, we do still hear from the NRA when they need money.
SO, what does it matter to be a lifetime member with the NRA if THEY HAVE FORGOTTEN US?
By the way, only I was mailed an NRA candidate endorsement (my son and I are both lifetime members). Why didn’t Joede get one?

Ginger,
In light of the most recent mass shooting at an elementary school… thank you for the opportunity to say fuck the NRA and fuck you for being a member of such a despicable organization.
Have a blessed day!
