Several Bitterroot Valley track athletes find themselves in the State’s Top 10 rankings. This is a great accomplishment considering these rankings include all four classes, so all athletes in the state of Montana are represented. The information was gathered from athletic.net as of April 11th, 2022. The Hamilton Invitational was canceled on Saturday, April 9th due to weather.
Girls
In the Shot Put, Corvallis’s Madison Lewis has the 2nd best throw at 39’ 8. Florence’s Trista Williams has the 6th best throw at 36’ 4.5.
In the Discus, Corvallis’s Alanna Auch has the 5th best throw at 113’ 8. Corvallis’s Madison Lewis has the 6th best throw at 112’ 8. Hamilton’s Mya Winkler has the 10th best throw at 110’ 4.
In the Javelin, Hamilton’s Mya Winkler has the 2nd best throw at 126’ 10.
Boys
In the 1600m, Hamilton’s Lane Cole has the 7th best time at 4:35.95. Hamilton’s Colter Purcell has the 10th best time at 4:39.02.
In the 1600m Relay, Hamilton’s team of Ephram Apedaile, Lane Cole, Eli Taylor, and Colter Purcell has the 5th best time of 3:36.12.
In the Shot Put, Hamilton’s Andrew Burrows has the best throw in the state so far this year at 52’ 3.5. Stevensville’s Hunter Gum has the 8th best throw at 47’ 3.5.
In the Discus, Burrows has the 6th best throw at 141’ 3.
In the Javelin, Stevensville’s Kellan Beller has the 3rd best throw at 180’ 0. Hamilton’s Tyson Rostad has the 5th best throw at 172’ 1.
