In response to 4/13/22 letter requesting Montana legislature investigate the 2021 election, please consider the following:
Idaho and Colorado elections have no bearing on Montana elections as each state election is separate and independent.
Is author asking Montanans to finance an investigation of our election based on Idaho and Colorado elections?
Dominion election machines are not used in Montana regardless of internet searches of Idaho, Colorado, media or election fraud theories. Refer to Montana Secretary of State website detailing elections machines.
Montana and national elections were wildly successful for Republicans while Republicans question both election’s integrity. Are their wins fraudulent?
No credible evidence of Montana election fraud or irregularities are cited yet the author spent endless hours exploring this internet drivel.
Thousands of real Montanans of both parties, 56 County Clerk and Recorder’s offices, election judges and the Montana Secretary of State would have needed to conspire to endanger the integrity of Montana’s election. No such evidence is presented.
The author used his extensive internet skills to explore unfounded conspiracy theories. He avoided seeking county election offices, Secretary of State, Montana or American Supreme Court websites among other sites which would disprove his fanatical election theories. Unthinking research undermines local confidence in our democracy and institutions.
This letter highlights ongoing misinformation and culturally immature internet use; immaturity in the sense of using unfettered information without the wisdom of critical thought. Internet content is misapplied indiscriminately to local issues. It is “past time to let this go” but future discussions based on documented facts matter. Both readers and writers would benefit applying wisdom and common sense to this twaddle.
