Area tennis teams start the season
The Stevensville girls and boys tennis teams played Dillon on March 26th. Olivia Peretto had two matches, winning one and losing one. Megan Liedtka won her singles match and Chloe Milstren lost hers. In doubles, Rachel Fluckiger and Eden Kindberg lost their match.
On the boys side, Josh Ryker won his match, while Dominic Bridges, Tucker Lay, and Maddox Hurlbert each lost. In doubles, Dominic Bridges and Tucker Lay lost their match as did Maddox Hurlbert and Josh Ryker.
The Hamilton girls and boys tennis teams had a good turnout this year with 43 total kids participating. They recently played Libby, Dillon, and Polson, winning against Libby and Dillon and losing to Polson. Coach Lewis’s team is returning Eliana Foss who finished in third place at state last year and Andy Purcell who finished in sixth at state last year.

Florence/Darby Golf Invitational
Darby and Florence hosted 11 Class B & C high school golf teams in the Florence/Darby Golf Invitational on March 31st in Hamilton at the Hamilton Golf Club.
Alexa McLean of Florence took second place in the girls division with a score of 93. Also from the Florence-Carlton girls team, Malena Ketelhut scored 127 and Charlie Roth Scored 162.
On the boys side, Hunter Olson of Florence finished in sixth place with a score of 90. Florence has a big group of boys on the team, and they had the following results: Ethan Alexander 94, Quintan Monaco 94, Patrick Duchien 97, Sean Larson 100, Rollie Fisher 105, Jon Post 105, Seth Wilson 109, Adyn Meinzen 110, Jace Pedersen 115, Mason Brossman 115.
The Darby boys had the following results: Hooper Reed 123, Austin Ward 127, Dillon Duxbury 132, Brandon Leavens 133, Atticus Atkins 154.
