I didn’t think it could get worse. Ever the optimist, I seek to see the best in people. However, the news about our elected representatives has punched a hole in my optimism.
First we have Gianforte shooting a collared mountain lion that was deliberately and illegally treed for slaughter. Gianforte’s buddies kept the lion captive for our illustrious Governor to arrive with his weapon. Does this man represent Montana or his own greed? Do our own laws mean so little to this man?
Also coloring our world are the antics of another elected official who I call Mrs. Silly, who hasn’t a clue that governing is not a reality show. Instead of working on state issues, she is obsessed with whether Canadian truckers wear masks. How silly.
The icing on the cake is Rosendale voting against the US House resolution in support of Ukraine. This man has no clue that even Montana exists in the modern world and is part of the international community of free nations. No, Rosendale lives under a rock deep in the wilds of ignorance.
Please, Montanans, let’s elect leaders known for their competence.

You bet. Thank God Biden is President now. He coalsced NATO leaders into a united front against Putin’s invasion, and spurred sanctions from countries and multinational corporations to tell Putin he cannot get away with this. Biden will be recorded as a great President who navigates us and the world through a very hard time.
