The people of Montana are blessed to have Senator Jon Tester represent us. Sen. Tester has supported so many bills and programs that directly help Montana veterans and all of it’s citizens. The infrastructure bill will positively impact Montana’s rural economy as well as urban economy. During the last Republican administration, infrastructure was never seriously proposed. If it had been it would have passed easily. Sen. Daines and Rep. Rosendale are playing partisan politics and criticizing this infrastructure bill. It is obvious that they would have been in complete support if former President Trump would have brought infrastructure to the table. The fact is that the Trump administration did not even try to put together a proposal for infrastructure. Several times a week Sen. Daines sends out emails complaining about the cost of infrastructure and how it will negatively impact my pocketbook. He must think that if he keeps repeating this message, he will eventually convince us of it. It is a proven fact that investments in infrastructure help the economy in a multitude of ways. I hope Montana voters consider voting for candidates that actually help build Montana’s economy rather than vote solely for a candidate just because they have an R behind their name.
