David G. Brandon Sr.

Harmon – David G. Brandon Sr. age 88, died at his home Sunday, October 24, 2021.

David was born on November 12, 1932 in Tampico, the son of Forrest and Genevieve (Ribordy) Brandon. He married Frances M. Henry on November 19, 1951 in Harmon. She preceded him in death June 8, 2019. David grew up farming in the Harmon area and moved to Stevensville, Montana in 1972 to run 3 Mile Trading Company general store and was active in blacksmithing. He was a member of Upper Midwest Blacksmith Association, Northwest Rockies Blacksmith Association and National Farmers Organization. David was active on the 3 Mile Fire Department, serving as Chief.

Survivors include two daughters, Tracy (Dan) Abuhl of Camino Island, Wash. and Kimberly (Mike) Sherman of Snohomish, Wash.; two sons, David (Emily) Brandon, Jr. of Morrison and Stanley (Pat) Brandon of Franklin Grove; eight sisters, Margy Brandon of Ill., Katie Bochum of Calif., Janice Falcone of Mo., Janeen Friend of Calif., Jean Stuckmeyer of Minn., Marilyn Brandon of Ohio and Angela Brandon of Ill.; three brothers, Donald (Anne) Brandon of Utah, Robert (Margaret) Brandon of Ill., and Lawrence (Linda) Brandon of Ill.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Richard Brandon; one sister, Patricia, and one grandson, Stanley Brandon, Jr.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were completed by the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.
