Ever since the day that the people elected the current Mayor Dewey, making it clear that James Crews was NOT their choice for mayor, Mayor Dewey has encountered criticism, lawsuits, name calling and just plain evil. James Crews has repeatedly wasted the Councils time with his antics which reminds one of a child being a sore loser and unaccepting of his loss.
Next comes unfounded lawsuits, not one but two, against the Mayor by duped Leanna Rodabaugh, of this self righteous group. Another waste of time and money that the Mayor and Council had to address.
Bring into the controlling group Robert Michalson next who resigns whenever issues at hand don’t go his way.
Then there’s Stacie Barker who criticizes the Mayor at every turn and resigns also when issues at hand don’t go her way.
Mayor Dewey never even had a chance, he and the Town Council have been subjected to so much hatred that their time has constantly been wasted having to address these aggressive, dominating individuals. These bullying individuals who instead of getting along, agreeing to disagree like grown up adults, for the betterment of the beautiful Town of Stevensville, have one agenda in mind: take control so everything goes their way, regardless of what is best for the Town of Stevensville. They must win at all costs. Can we really count on Michalson or Barker? How many times do they get to resign before Stevensville says enough – if you can’t stand the heat in the kitchen then stay out of the kitchen. If you can’t agree to disagree like an adult and instead resign your position, then do something else with your time instead of trying to get back on the Council. Jim Crews drives all of this with his egotistical nature and if time could be the equivalent of money wasted with his antics and long winded letters and demands, the Town of Stevensville would have a lot of excess money for funding of what truly would be for the betterment of Stevensville.
Read through all of the Town Council meeting comments and this will substantiate what I am writing. Stevensville is a beautiful, friendly, happy town and should stay that way without controllers taking over at whatever cost. Please think hard about what the Mayor and Council have been through for so many months when you cast your vote. No, they are not perfect and do make mistakes like the rest of us do as well, however, it is obvious that they continue to try to make a difference for the betterment of Stevensville. Bullies at the helm will destroy the beautiful Town of Stevensville.
