I served with Steve Gibson in the Montana State Legislature for 6 years. As he dives into the political arena once again, I think there are some important points one could consider in making a choice for Mayor of Stevensville.
After serving on the Appropriations committee at the State level, Steve would bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and judgment in the day-to-day financial operations of Stevensville. Although strong willed in his beliefs, I always found him willing to listen to both sides of an issue before making a final decision. He understood there is always two sides to every decision and was willing to work towards a fair and balanced conclusion; many times going beyond his personal beliefs, to do what was right for the State of Montana. It would be presumed he could, and would, do the same for Stevensville.
Steve is the type of guy that will roll up his sleeves, show up for work every day, put in the time that is needed to make sure the people, and the business’, in Stevensville are represented.
