I’m bemused by Stacie Barker’s comments in the Star on October 6th.
She served on the town council for 3 years, 7 months before quitting because “I wanted to take a step back.” She now says that she “has more knowledge….followed the meetings and learned the laws.” “Now I’m more aware of procedures and policies.”
If you watched her during her 3+ years while she was on the council, she usually looked at Crews and Michalson to see how they voted and then would always vote with them.
So she voted all those years not knowing the laws or policies and procedures? Really?
And she’s wanting to be re-elected? Please use your common sense and vote for Paul Ludington, who has known the laws, policies and procedures for years.
Also, Mr. Ludington is working with the planning and zoning board to correct the growth policy – the one that Michalson and Barker approved that is so full of contradictions…the very one that allowed the BFE sub-division.
